CHILDREN'S PICNIC

Two bus loads of children of merchant seamen and their mothers spent the day at a picnic at Ferndale, Waitakere, arranged by the Flying Angel Mission to Seamen on Saturday. The youngsters, who were all under 12 years of age, were accompanied by junior members of the Harbour Lights Guild and the port chaplain, the Rev. H. Iv. Vickery. Swimming, sports and games were indulged in during the day.
