"NO UNFAIR COMPETITION"

(P.A.)

WELLINGTON, Thursday.

"There will be no unfair competition between Army trucks used for harvesting and the country's regular carriers," stated the Minister of Transport, Mr. O'Brien, to-day. He said arrangements had been made whereby Army vehicles would not be made available for use on farms, or for carting produce to a railway station, store or ship, except where approval of the appropriate. transport licensing authority had been obtained and where ordinary carriers were not available.
