BURGLARY CHARGE

TWO MEN REMANDED

MAGISTRATE REFUSES BAIL.

Arrested by Detective Cromwell on a charge of breaking and entering the warehouse of Laddaloc and Lady Jane Lingerie, Newmarket, on December 5, and stealing four suitcases and a quantity of lingerie valued at £272 12/8, Frank Norman Harrop (37), a seaman, and Leslie Pearce (38), a labourer, appeared in the Police Court before Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., this morning. Senior Detective J. Walsh obtained a remand in each case to December 16.

Mr. J. W. Dickson, who represented both accused, applied for bail. Bail was opposed by Mr. Walsh and refused by the magistrate.
