Shares in the Woohvorth group attracted attention on the Auckland Stock Kxchange to-day, and business was completed in the New Zealand, Sydney and South African issues. The New Zealand scrip, which was ex dividend on November 23, sold at IS/U, a rise of over 1/ on the cum dividend price. Bank of New Zealands were in request at the late selling price, £2 2/6, but holders asked 1/ more. Insurances remained strong, with supplies scarce. An advance was registered in Farmers' Auctioneering £5 shares which, at ] / below par, were at the highest level ior many years.
