LEAVE EXTENSION
SOLDIERS ON FURLOUGH (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. An announcement that the leave of those members of the Middle East furlough draft who are to return overseas has been extended until further notice was made to-night bv the Minister of Defence. Mr. Jones "The men concerned," said Mr Jones, "will receive, in due course' notice from their area officers calling them up for dispatch to camp and until they arc required to report they Will continue on leave on full pay'" Ihe Minister stated that the extension of leave did not include an extension of the free railway pass which would expire on Saturday '
