WOMEN'S FINE SERVICE
CAMOUFLAGE NETTING ENDS
Concluding the camouflage netting work which has been carried on in Auckland by women volunteers and Girl Guides for two years, the Auckland district committee of the Women's War Service Auxiliary held a gathering at the Swan Club for Servicewomen this afternoon. MajorGeneral P. H. Bell, D.5.0., Northern District Commandant, was present, also representatives from the netting depots at the Auckland Centre, Devonport and Takapuna, and representatives of the Girl Guides.
Mrs. W. H. Cocker, chairman of the W.W.S.A., which, with the Girl Guides' Association, has carried out this important work, expressed her appreciation of the continuous service performed by the women volunteers. She also thanked the Camouflage Section of the Northern Military District for their co-operation.
