PATRIOTIC APPEAL

AUCKLAND'S EFFORT

STILL SHORT OF THE QUOTA

The Auckland Provincial Patriotic ommittee gratefully acknowledges further contributions towards the Patriotic Fund. The list still is not complete, and additional names will be published later. We are still short of our quota, states the committee, and despite four letters of appeal, many firms and individuals have not yet made any donation. This is ™ m l tter Vitally aff ecting everyone. £ honour of Auckland is involved Everyone should make some contnbution, according to their means. Will those who have not yet responded please do so, the committee asks. Our boys are doing the fighting —We should do the paying. It is the least we can do, and is a matter of honour to everyone.
