DIVIDENDS DECLARED
William Cable and Company (Wellington) has declared a dividend on preference shares for the half-year ended September 30 at the unchanged rate of 7 per cent per annum, free of taxes. The directors of N.Z. Guarantee Corporation (Wellington) will recommend a dividend of Hid a share (unchanged) at the annual meetinff on October 29. The directors of Electrolytic Zinc Company (Melbourne* have declared a dividend of 5 per cent for the half-year ended June 30. making 9 per cent for the year on both preference and ordinary shares, payable on December 31. The rate is unchanged.
