PUPILS' CONDUCT
The conduct of secondary school pupils on suburban evening trains was the subject of discussion at a meeting of the board of managers of the Seddon Memorial Technical College yesterday afternoon. The principal, Mr. G. J. Park stated that the board's action in giving him authority to withdraw if he thought fit, the free railway passes issued to students living more 'than three miles from the college had been questioned. Disquieting reports had been received recently of further serious misconduct on the south line, especialiv m unlighted carriages in the Parnel] tunnel. The offending pupils were not only from the Technical College The board reaffirmed its previous decision with regard to withholding railway passes and also cave the principal power to suspend or expel offending pupils as he thought necessary in the interests of the corlege.
