TAXI HOLD-UPS
MARINES APPREHENDED _ _ TRIBUNAL ACTION AWAITED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. Two Marines have been apprehended, and confessions obtained, in connection with the attempted robbery of a taxi-driver last Wednesday night. Two hats were left in the taxi and •information furnished by a New Zealand airman enabled United States investigators to bring the men to custody within four days. The men are held awaiting action by a military tribunal. Three other United States Marines involved in local taxi hold-ups about a month ago are also in custody awaiting action by the military tribunal.
