OBITUARY

MR. W. F. DEVERSON

. After being in poor health for some time Mr. Walter Frederick Deverson, president of the New Zealand Master Grocers' Federation, and a former president of the Auckland Master

Grocers' Association, has died at a private hospital. Mr. Deverson came to New Zealand fr6m England in 1913 and had been in business at Mount Albert for the past 20 years He was a member of the Manchester Unity, 1.0.0. F. He is survived by his wife.

MR. G. H. SAUNDERS

(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Tues. The death occurred in New Plymouth to-night of Mr. Garnet Hornby Saunders, who was well known in the motion picture industry, aged G3. He had a long connection with theatre enterprises in Taranaki, and was formerly president of the executive of the New Zealand Motion Picture Exhibitors' Association.
