The Russian Army now holds two-thirds of the Donbas area and is moving westwards at the rate of between 1 0 and 1 5 miles a day, says the correspondent of the Columbia Broadcasting System in Moscow. Russia's richest coal country should very soon be completely in Russian hands. The German position at Stalino is untenable and the Red Army is now fighting fiercely in the suburbs of that city. On various fronts Russian forces have captured large numbers of inhabited localities, including many important centres.
