JAP. SHIP SUNK
BY DUTCH SUBMARINE Rec. 12.30 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 7. The Netherlands Admiralty announces that a Netherlands submarine operating with the Royal Navy in the South-west Pacific sunk a Japanese supply ship of 5000 tons in the Straits of Malacca, which separates the enemy occupied territory of the Malay States and Sumatra.
