PORTS TAKEN
NAZIS IN BULGARIA
Claim That King- Boris' Will Is Missing N.Z. Press Association—Copyright Rec. 11.30 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 31. The Bulgarian frontier has been closed, says Algiers radio. The Bulgarian Government has been in continuous session during the past few days. The Germans have taken over the Bulgarian Black Sea ports of Burgas and Varna. Strong fortifications are being built along the whole Bulgarian coast, and in some areas antiaircraft defences extending seven miles inland have been established. In the Varna area several new airfields have been constructed. The will of the late King Boris has not yet been found, although the King's papers have been searched, says the German overseas radio. The will may name the three members of the Regency Council. Official quarters in Sofia are reticent and refuse to confirm or deny that King Boris made a will.
