PARADE IN WELLINGTON WELCOME TO RETURNED MEN (P;A.) WELLINGTON, this day.

Brilliant weather, in marked contrast to what has been experienced for some weeks, favoured Wellington people and brought them out in large numbers to line the route of the parade of returned men and women of the forces of the present war arranged in conjunction with a luncheon by the Returned Services Association. - , , The returned personnel attended in force and quite a number who were unequal to the march through the streets were accommodated in motor cars. The procession was headed by a brass band and the Police Pipe Band also took part. Following the. luncheon and parade the men became the guests of the Wellington Rugby Union at Athletic Park for the North versus South Army football match.
