Thompson, Mount Hden, Auckland, and Jean Winifred Powell, W.A.A.F., daughter of the Jate Mr. and Mrs. L. Powell, of Kaponga, and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs., D. Lambie, of Mangatoki.
Dixon—McGnirc. —The engagement is announced between Mary Elizabeth Helen (Molly), only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. McGufre, 95, Great South Road, Remuera, and Second-Lieutenant Alexander George Allen, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dixon, Te Matal Road, Te Puke.
Sinton —Kcid. —The engagement is announced between Georgina Alice (Jean), second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Reid, of Oncwhero, and Allan Robert, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Sinton, of Brigham's Crcek^SHobsonville.
