BURIED UNDER EARTH

FATE OF A CONTRACTOR (0.C.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. A man was killed when caught in a fall of earth while working on the new road between South Karori and South Makara yesterday. He was; Mr. R. Williamson, contractor, married, of Haywards, Upper Hutt. The fall of earth caught Mr. Williamson and crushed and buried him against a tractor. The accident was not seen, and it was only when he was missed by residents living close by that an investigation was made. Death was instantaneous.
