MINE AGAIN IDLE

ACTION BY TRUCKERS (0.c.) GREYMOUTH, Thursday. The Strongman State mine was idle to-day. Since the trucking contract came into operation at the mine a statement showing how the contract rate is calculated has been handed to representatives of the truckers with their pay tickets.

The pay tickets were distributed this morning, but the other statement, through an oversight, was not supplied, and for that reason the truckers returned home, and no work was done at the mine. The statement would have been supplied later in the day, according to officials at the State mine office this morning. Over 200 men were idle as a result of the truckers' action.
