DOMINION POWER BOARDS

(P.A.) NAPIER, this day. Officers elected at the Electric Power Boards Supply Authorities', conference were:—President, Mr. J. A. Nash (Manawatu); executive, Messrs. S. Blackley (Hutt Valley), D. C. Cameron (Dunedin), P. B. Foote (Timaru), S. J. Harbutt (Auckland), E. Lyons (Christchurch), J. B. Kent (Grey), R. Masters (Taranaki), T. C Hislop (Wellington), G. A. Monk (Horowhenua),- W. G. Rudd (Marlborough), N. M. Speers (secretaries' representative), and L. B. Hutton (engineers' representative). The conference decided that every effort should be made to impress upon the Government the necessity to complete specifications of necessary additional generating plant at the earliest possible moment, and that it be left to the executive to appoint a delegate from the association to co-operate with and assist the Public Works Department in expediting delivery.
