SCHEME RESUMED
STATE HOUSING IN NORTH (0.C.) WHANGAREI, this day. With 200 applications outstanding, State housing construction has been resumed in Whangarei. Seven houses previously left unfinished owing to the labour shortage have been handed over, four being allotted to servicemen. Six homes are under construction and work on a further 12 will commence almost immediately.
