MR. HALL TO RETIRE (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The retirement of the Clerk of the House, Mr. T. D. H. Hall, was referred to by the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, in his final speech in the House of Representatives last night. Mr. Fraser said that the parting ceremony might be the last in which Mr. Hall would participate, for the House might lose his services as Clerk of the House. He paid a high tribute to Mr. Hall's work over a period of years.
