BANK DIRECTORS HELD

ALLEGED ENEMY TRADING British Official Wireless Rec. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Aug. 19. Two directors of the State Bank of Morocco have been arrested under the order of the French Committee of National Liberation. Their names are Bapst and de Soubry, and they are charged with trading with the enemy, says a correspondent at Allied headquarters in North Africa. They are now in prison at Rabat. The arrests followed an inquiry concerning the export by the State Bank of about 700 kilograms of gold The allegation is that it was exported in February to Vichy for Germany.
