HEDLEY.—On August 13. at her late residence, 29. Mays Road. Onehunga. Ethel Maria, dearly beloved wife of the late Hugh Hedley; aged 63 years. Funeral will leave W. H. Tongue and Son's Chapel to-morrow (Friday) at 2 p.m. for Hillsboro'. PHILIP.—On August 18, at Auckland Hospital, Adam Hood, dearly beloved husband of Jeanie Philip. of 23, Vinter Terrace, Mount Albert, and ;.oved father of Bessie and Clem, and grandad of Jean, Jack (overseas) and Betty; in his eightieth year. Funeral will leave his late residence at 2 p.m. Friday lor Waikumete Cemetery. POWLEY.—On August 19, at her residence. Margaret Winifred, dearly beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Powley. beloved mother of the late Captain Alfred Powley. M.C., and Wynifred Watson, and dearly loved grandmother of Lieutenant Nigel Watson (overseas). Service at St. Mary's Cathedral, 2 p.m. Friday, August 20. Private interment.
