AERIAL DISPLAY
FLIGHTS FOR CADETS About 70 members of the Air Training Corps were given flights yesterday at Mangere aerodrome, and a large crowd was present to witness the display of aerobatics in the afternoon. The machines used for the free flights were the three Tfger Moth trainers now on tour in connection with air training. The leader of the touring flight, Squadron-Leader L. Brake, gave an aerobatics display in one of the trainers, the performance being repeated, with variations, by another machine. pilot flying a Harvard training Later in the afternoon a flight of Kittyhawk fighters gave an exhibition of formation flying, followed by another display of "stunt flying" by one of these machines. The touring flight will leave for Hamilton at the end of the week, when cadets will be. given flights from Te Rapa.
