NAVAL AND AIR NEW ZEALANDERS OVERSEAS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Admiralty has advised the Prime Minister that the King has approved the award of a bar to his Distinguished Service Cross to Tem-porary-Sub-Lieuienant George James Mac-Donald, R.N.Z.N.V.R. Advice of the award of the D.S.C to Sub-Lieutenant Mac Donald was published on April 21, last year the award being made for good service m attacks on an enemy convoy Lieutenant Mac Donald's father is Mr. John W. Mac Donald, of the Government Life Insurance Department, Wellington. The award of the Distinguished P lying Cross to two New Zealanders serving with the Royal Air Force is announced to-day. They are Acting-Group-Captain Gordon John Grindell rnht' t , and , „ Flight " Lieutenant Graham Lloyd Mandeno.
