BURMA ATTACKS
ALLIED AIRCRAFT RETURN British Official Wireless Rec, 2 p.m. RUGBY, July 12. Royal Air Force Vengeance aircraft yesterday attacked Minbya, an enemy-occupied village about 30 miles north-east of Akyab, and a formation of Blenheims bombed Hawlaik, on the Chindwin River, states a communique from India. v Fighters on an offensive patrol damaged three steamers and other river craft on the Irrawadciy and machine-gunned objectives in ihe Buthidaung area. None of our aircraft is missing.
