TOBACCONIST ACQUITTED
The retrial of Alexander Teece Smith, tobacconist, Queen Street, aged 45 (Mr. W. W. King), on a charge of having received tobacco and cigarettes knowing the goods to have been stolen, was concluded on Monday afternoon. The. jury returned a verdict of not guilty, and accused was discharged.
