INJURED IN FALLS

When he fell from an electric railway goods trolley at the Auckland station, a storeman employed by the Railway Department, Mr. John Elwell, aged 56, of 30, Rotomahana Terrace, Remuera, suffered a fracture of the base of the skull. Mr. Elwell was admitted to the hospital last evening. His condition to-day was fair.

Concussion was suffered by Mr. James Joseph Drinnan, aged 62, single, a carpenter, of 84, Union Street, City, when he fell into a ship's hold yesterday. His condition at the Auckland Hospital to-day was fairly satisfactory.
