All residents and" users of water in'the Borough are urgently requested to immediately reduce their consumption of water to enable the council to transfer as much as possible to the metropolitan area durins the present emergency. With the full co-operation of all concerned householders, hospitals, factories, schools and institutions more than 200,00 gallons daily can be saved and made available outside the borough, providing material help to those less fortunately situated.
