ON 'CHANGE SOUTH BRITISH HIGHER South British Insurance shares gained a further 6d on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day, selling at £3 9/6, a rise of 1/6 this week. The shares are now only 9d below the record high • level reached in February. The tone of the market generally was very firm, with any price changes favouring sellers. New Zealand Forest Products (ord.) changed .hands at 4/8 against 4/ before Easter. Gilt-edged issues remained steady.
