STREET ACCIDENTS

Admissions to the Auckland Hospital yesterday included three people who had been knocked down by motor vehicles.

Concussion and lacerations were suffered by Peter John Keir, aged 3, son of Mr. W. Keir, of 86, Maskell Street, St. Helier's, when struck by a truck in Maskell Street. His condition to-day was fair. A 16-year-old domestic, Ivy Edlin, daughter of Mr. T. Edlin, of Waimauku, was admitted' to" the hospital suffering from concussion and abrasions as a result of being knocked down by a car in Manukau Road, Epsom. Her condition to-day was reported to be fair. Mrs. "Violet Harriet Buckley, a cook, of 27, Alten Road, Farnell, was knocked down by a car in Quay Street. She suffered concussion and lacerations, and her condition today was reported to be satisfactory.
