SOLDIER ACQUITTED
Yeoman Knowles Woodcock, a soldier, 20 (Mr. Henry), who was tried before Mr. Justice Fair and a jury to-day on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under 16 was found "not guilty" on the technical defence for men not 21 years old that he had reasonable cause to think the girl was 16 years of age.
