ORGAN RECITAL

Sponsored by the Epsom Girls' Grammar School, and held in aid of the school patriotic fund, the recital at the Town Hall organ last evening by Mr. Murray Fastier, before a large and appreciative audience, was both an artistic "and financial success. This was Mr. Fastier's second performance on the instrument, and once again the player demonstrated his virtuosity in a convincing manner. His presentations included compositions by Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, Cesar Franek and Widor. Vocal interludes were provided by Lyla Fastier, soprano. Items were also given by the school select choir, conducted by Mrs. M. H. Miller, and the Aerial Choir of ladies voices, conducted by Mr. H. C. Luscombe.
