RECORD PROCESSION

SYDNEY STREETS THKONGED (0.C.) SYDNEY, May 4. The May Day procession on Sunday was the biggest in Sydney s history. It took 35 minutes to pass a point and comprised 8000 people headed by nine bands and including representatives of 14 nationalities, 53 trade unions, three political parties— Official Labour, State Labour and the Communist party—and Allied service men. , , The route through the city was lined by at least 50,000 people, and 30,000 or more attended the rally in the Domain, at which representatives of the three political parties again joined together on the same platform.
