ELLERSLIE HOSPITAL
STAFFING PROCEEDING
Staffing of the Ellerslie Hospital to meet an emergency is proceeding, and good progress is being made with the arrangements. An urgent appeal has been made for numbers of voluntary aids, cooks and nurses to take up duty there immediately, as an influx of some hundreds of patients is expected. . It was stated this morning that there had been a good response to the appeal, and it was believed that the necessary staff would be available.
