ADAMS. —On April 8, at Aotea, Mary Jane, dearly beloved wife of John Adams, Capehill Road, Pukekohe, in her seventy-ninth year. Service at 1.30 Friday at the Anglican Church, Papakura, leaving afterwards for Papakura Cemetery. BURDON-CARTER. —On April 8, at Green Lane Hospital, William Burdon-Carter; aged 64 years. Funeral will leave W. H. Tongue and Son's Chapel Saturday at 10.30 a.m. for Hillsboro'. CATES. —On Wednesday, April 7. at Te Kopuru Hospital, George, in his eighty-second year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Harriett Elizabeth and father of Herbert, Houto, Alfred (Awakino Point), Eric (Te Kopuru), William (Kawakawa). George (Kerikeri), Mesdames W. H.
