ON 'CHANGE GOOD FLOW OF BUSINESS Fairly active conditions ruled on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day. The tone remained firm. Bank of New South Wales were placed at £32 10/ —the highest figure reached for some years. Other banks and insurances were steady. A parcel of New Zealand Loan and Mercantiles was transferred for the first time on the local market since November, 1041. Australian industrials displayed a healthy tone, with a further gain registered in Broken Hill Proprietary. These shares have now fully recovered to the level of early in February.
