GRAIN AND PRODUCE
The following is the official weekly market report of the -Auckland ■ Gram, Seed, and Produce Merchants' Association: Wheat.—Wheat is meeting with a strong inquiry, while stocks are in fairly short supply, prices ranging from 7/4 to 7/6 per bushel. Maize.—Pair stocks are held and there is a steady demand. Prices range from 7/11 to 8/2 for whole maize, and 8/1 to 8/4 per bushel for ' Oats.—There is a steady inquiry for oats, while the market is quiet. B Gartons are selling through store at from 5/2 to 5/5 per bushel. Chaff. —There is a good demand for chaff, and the market remains firm, G. 8.0.5. selling at from £11 15/ to £12 15/ per ton. | Barley.—Stocks are low but will be. .supplemented shortly. Ex shipment undipped- barlev is quoted in minimum 10-sack lots, cash with order, at 4/s'/2 per bushel, and clipped at 4/10% per bushel. Meantime prices through store range from 5/3 to 5/6 for undipped, and for clipped 5/8 to 5/11. Barlcymcal.—There is a strong inquiry for barleymeal, prims for which are from £12 10/ to £13 5/ per ton. _J***BMH Stockmcal. —Prices for steckmeal are only nominal, and range from £11 17/6 to £12 2/6 per ton.
