SHOW PLACE OF RUSSELL BISHOP POMPAIiLIER'S HOME (0.C.) WHANGAREI, this day. Great interest, especially to the Roman Catholic community, has been aroused in the purchase by the Government of the home of Bishop Pompallier at Russell. The price has not been disclosed. The house will be renovated and, with articles of furniture also purchased, will be made available to the public. The house-is in a good state of preservation, its last owner, Mr. Henry Stephenson, having made it and its gardens a show place of RusselL
