WAR WORK IN CITY

The Minister of Munitions and Supply, Mr. Sullivan, arrived in Auckland this morning and visited engineering establishments doing war work. He saw hand grenades and mortar bombs being manufactured and also Bren gun .carriers. This afternoon he met representatives of the Auckland Manufacturers Association at the business establishment of Geo. Court and Sons, Ltd., Karangahape Road. He then went on- to the Auckland University College to see experiments in the engineering laboratory. He will return to Wellington to-morrow night.
