Net profit of the English, Scottish and Australian Bank, Limited, for the year ended June 30 was £126,120, a decrease of £87,772. It Is the lowest net profit for many years. Though gross profit increased by £73,464, expenses. Including taxation, rose by £161,236. Dividend is 1 per cent lower at 6 per cent, and requires (less united Kingdom tax) £116,375.
