AGRICULTURAL POST
NEW ASSISTANT-DIRECTOR (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Robert Browne Tennent has been appointed assistant-Director-General of the Department of Agriculture. Born in Scotland 50 years ago. he served in the Great War in the A.I.F. and came to New Zealand in 1921. when he joined the Department as an instructor. Mr. Percy Walton Smallfield succeeds Mr. Tennent as Director of the Fields Division.
