CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY PLAY RESUMED TO-DAY Attracted by the fine weather there was a large gallery at the Stanley Street courts this afternoon to witness the continuation of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's annual championships in the junior and intermediate sections. The preliminary rounds were decided last week-end, and to-day the concluding rounds in a number of events were played. The tournament is expected to be finalised over the week-end. INTERMEDIATE Men's Doubles.—C. J. Roberts and A. Trembath won by default from N. Nunnerly and R. Morpeth. M. Healey and W. H. Huckstep beat R. Barclay and J. Cater, 6—o, 6—o. Women's Singles.—Miss B. Burns beat Miss S. Darley, 6—3, 6—4. Mixed Doubles. —L. Pearman and Miss P. Protheroe beat J. Espie and Miss J. White, 6—l, 6—o.
