TECHNICIANS FOR ARMY

(0.C.) PALMERSTON N., Thursday. Men from all parts of New Zealand who have had some engineering training are now taking an intensive four weeks course conducted by army headquarters at the Palmerston North Technical School. The training is for metal turners, the majority of whom have an incompleted apprenticeship in their trade. The course is part of a comprehensive scheme for training technicians in the army.
