Industrial Objectives For R.A.F. In The Rhineland * i DUSSELDORF MAIN TARGET British Official Wireless Rec. 1.30 p.m. ' RUGBY, Jan. 28. "Bomber Command Lancasters and Halifaxes last night heavily attacked industrial objectives in the Rhineland," states the Air Ministry. "Several hundred tons of high explosive and incendiary bombs were
dropped on Dusseldorf in 20 minutes. Heavy cloud made it difficult "to assess the results, but the glare of fierce fires was seen and the attack is believed to have been very effective. Six of our t bombers are missing."
