FOR WOMEN SATURDAY'S WEDDING

DONALD—MARTYN BRIDE WEARS WHITE LACE At the Pitt Street Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon the wedding took place of Miss Gwenneth Clare Martyn, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martyn, Kitenui Avenue, Mount Albert, to Mr. Raymond Louis Donald, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Donald, of Heme Bay. The Rev. E. T. Olds officiated and during the service a solo was sung by Mrs. H. T. Grubb. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful white lace frock of stiffened embroidered mesh, fashioned on Puritan lines. Her tulle veil fell from a Juliet cap of orange blossom and she carried a bouquet of white roses, bouvardia and gypsophila. Attending as bridesmaids were Miss Margaret Grubb and Miss Molly Cooke, who wore azure blue broderie anglaise lace frocks and floral Juliet caps. They carried bouquets of pink carnations and jacaranda. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. W. Donald as best man and by Mr. J. Sloman as groomsman. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Farmers' tearooms, where the guests were received by Mrs. Martyn, assisted by Mrs. Allright, sister of the bridegroom.
