VICTIMS OF TRAGEDY

INTERMENT AT WELLINGTON

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The funeral took place this morn', ing at the Soldiers' Cemetery Karori, of the two United States' marines who were victims of th e recent shooting tragedy in Weilinston. *

All branches of the United States Forces were represented, and there were over a hundred of all ranks present. Captain Lumkin, padre of the United States Marine Corps officiated at the funeral, which was a military one concluding with the customary volleys from a firing party. 6
