COLLISION AT NIGHT
PEDESTRIAN IN HOSPITAL
. Shortly before midnight last evening a collision took place in Victoria Road, Devonport, just above the gasworks, when a taxi travelling towards Devonport was involved in an accident with a cyclist and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, Mr. George E. Falwasser, of 42, Princes Street, Northcote, was found on the roadside suffering from concussion, with contusions and abrasions. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, but the cyclist, Mr. George Weeks, of 13, Burrows Avenue, ParHell, left after treatment at the casualty department. Hospital authorities advised to-day that Mr. Palwasser's condition was fairly, serious. - J
