MEN'S BASEBALL

At last night's meeting of the executive of the Auckland Baseball Association entries closed with 10 teams for the major league. These included sides from the United Nations and New Zealand Forces. Six teams entered for the secondary schools' competition. Practices were arranged for Saturday at Fowlds Park, and the season opens at Carlaw Park on November 7.
