WESTFIELD DONATION
FIRE BRIGADE SERVICE
A donation of £50 from the Westfield Freezing Company in appreciation of the service rendered by the Auckland Fire Brigade at the recent fire at Westfield, was acknowledged by the Metropolitan Fire Board this morning. In a letter to the board the manager, Mr. A. Bryan, stated that the company was deeply appreciative of the efficiency of the brigade in dealing with the fire. The board expressed its thanks for this fine gesture.
